The drive to Southampton went well and the children all enjoyed the ferry crossing. The weather was glorious and we were able to sit on the deck and watch the boats go by. When we arrived at the centre, we were given a quick guided tour before settling into the bedrooms. We then did our first activity which was leap of faith (the timetable has changed in our favour)! All of the children managed to climb up the pole with some children even making it to the top! Tea was pizza or tacos and the children all ate very well. Soon it will be time for hot chocolate and then bed with hopefully some sleep! Apologies for the lack of pictures. My laptop isn't connecting to the wireless here at the moment. I will work at it and try to upload some for tomorrow.
The children slept well and woke up ready for action this morning! Today's activities have been bushcraft and g-swing. We had great fun lighting fires and building them up. We then built shelters in the woods. It was great fun! The rest of the day is team challenge, Jacob's ladder and go karts which we are really looking forward to!
The sun has been shining on us and we are still having a great time. Oli R has almost lost his voice with all of the shouting and singing that he's been doing! Today we went down to the beach where the children built sandcastles, hunted for fossils and played football. No photos today as it takes so long to upload them here. Sorry. We should be back for 4.30pm tomorrow. We will text you with a definite time tomorrow.
